It is mandatory that all Oscar partygoers be familiar with at least half the nominated movies and/or actors. Okay, not really but it makes it more fun. And it's my party.
This Thursday we shall see Rachel Getting Married at the FOX Tower, because it seems like a perfectly appropriate girlfriend movie and it stars the nominated Anne Hathaway in a kickass, non-princessy role. Plus it plays at the perfect time (7:00) to allow for our signature Happy Hour as a pre-function. Meant to be!
So let's talk carpool from a central point (I can be ready to roll by 5:00) and make it so.

Tomorrow brings day 3 of the Fever/Cough/Girl in my bed odyssey. I am planning on coming if she is well enough to make it to the Spencers, which sounds completely reasonable unless you were to see her today. I couldn't even tempt her with the IKEA website. Madness, I tell you.
