Grays at the Hilton, downtown Vancouver. 6 pm. It's across the street from Esther Short park.

See you there!

Kind of like a nice trip to the coast, but not

I drove almost two hours to do a job in Seaside yesterday. When I was 19 miles from the attorney's office per my GPS, I got THE CALL saying never mind, the job is a no go. And turned around. And drove almost two hours to get home.

So ready for happy hour this week.

Happy Hour Friday?

I would be totally down for something this Friday. I am working in Astoria that day, should be home by 5 pm or 6 pm, so factor that in.

I know cool places on the West side, but am a total rube re: anything in East County, so if you guys have a great place to hang on your side of town, I'd love to check it out.

we real cool

Hey, I did it! But I'm not sure how. I signed in and suddenly I am a part of this blog's contributors. I feel so important, yet so impotent.

I am rather abnormally excited about a Vancouver-area blogger group - I think it's because we tend to get lumped into Portland whenever anything 'local' is formed and though I adore Portland and many of its people, I am a Washingtonian and a smallish-town girl at heart. Vancouver is a nice place on its own, separate from Portland, and I look forward to sharing the love in our little city.

Thanks for bringing us together here, Shana.

Peace out.

Hello? Anyone out there?

All righty, here it is. A place to connect locally.

I think we should shoot for a Friday night Happy Hour!

Does anyone know how to add themselves to the blog to be able to post vs. comment? Never mind. Figured it out. If you want to be added as an author, just email me at ShanaOB at msn dot com and I'll send you the link!
